Makena Cook's Stuff

I'm still playing around with different things in Photoshop, so it doesn't look like much at the moment. I don't really have a set plan of what exactly I want it to be. For the final images, I'm working on how to incorporate more red, white, and blue, as I want to add some more color.  I also like the inverted colors; I've been doing a lot of that and filters. 

 

 

 Here's the camera after initially drawing it. It took a while to get used to the tools as I'm not super proficient with Adobe applications yet, but it went well overall. I then drew and created the eyes, along with applying them to the person. I opted not to do a mouth just because it seemed better compositionally without it. 

I chose a camera!  I plan on having the camera be a part of someone's face, and the lens be the eyeball. Like eyes, cameras are a way of viewing and capturing memories. I'm also planning on making the "mouth" the place where the image would be printed out (maybe).  Being the person I am, I want to make it kinda creepy. I like spooky stuff.
