Makena Cook's Stuff

 For this next animation, I want to create a longer stop-motion video featuring one of my other Lon Chaney action figures. Either Professor Burke or the Phantom of the Opera. 

This time, the video features a clay skull I made. As it dries, it begins to crack. I wanted to try a different medium (not an action figure) for this one and also add more time to it. (video is fixed)

 For this animation project, I wanted to do multiple frames of one of my action figures, Hannibal Lecter.  It consisted of stitching together multiple frames of turning the figure and zooming in on his face. This is a tester, if you will, before the final.

 I changed a few things and ended up with just paint, images, and words. I wanted something dark that was about feeling trapped.

 Complete shift! As I thought about it, I decided to go for a darker vibe instead with a little short story. I'm using a combination of Gemini images and drawings. 

 I started on an accordion book - I want to maybe have a combination of both real pictures and drawings.  Context-wise, it is based on the recent events of my grandfather wanting to put up Christmas lights.
