Project 1 - Fantasy Appliance
I chose a camera! I plan on having the camera be a part of someone's face, and the lens be the eyeball. Like eyes, cameras are a way of viewing and capturing memories. I'm also planning on making the "mouth" the place where the image would be printed out (maybe). Being the person I am, I want to make it kinda creepy. I like spooky stuff.
Makena this is perfect for what we are doing. Just make sure you have the right resolution. Make a canvas in Photoshop that is designed for print that is 11"x17" and paste the scan into that window. If it is too small then you don't have enough resolution. Remember, this project is designing for print, much different than designing for online. By now, you should be separating the subject from the background and playing with the composition, and some of sex with layering in blending modes and posting this progress this week. Nice start.
